We are trying to install the Ray Allen position sensor for the flap. We have the linear motor and the Ray Allen sensor which moves 1.2 inch. Has anyone out there installed this combination, and could you share a description and pictures? We know the flap arm travels 52mm but the sensor only travels 30mm.
We have the wiring ok to the panel indicator.

Reality TV is for sissies. Honestly, I have seen these programmes of 'challenges' in remote areas - they are really not reality at all... I've been too busy building to bother adding posts! Anyways, cut out the skin, drilled, made the front and rear supports, clecoed the skin back on, marked out the front slot and slots for front supports, took the skin off, cut the slots, deburred everything, painted joint areas with primer and riveted the supports (7H2-6 and 7H2-7, I think they are) into place.
Today I put the skin back on (obviously had to cleco the curved side first, in order to slip over the front supports),…

What I am going to try to do here is generate a list of images of drawings I created in AutoCAD. All the major parts have been laid out for the CH-750 on 4 x 12 sheets representative of the 6061-T6 material needed to scratch build the 750. spent the last few days loading a 701 in a over sea shipping container ( going to Equador)
20 foot is just enough , sent a few pics and will have it all strapped down and secured tommorrow
had to higher a crane to set the container on the ground , just to high to work with on the trailer…
