Hi Folks:
Just started my CH750 Cruzer project. Just curious - anyone out there considering (or using) a Lycoming 233 LSA for your CH750 aircraft?
Best Regards to All.

Im an older, experienced pilot who re-entered flying in a light sport aircraft, a nicely restored Aeronca Chief. Now I'm ready for something to spread my wings a little further and I really like the 601-650 series, particularly with the Continental 100HP engine as I'm experienced with a similar Continental 75 hp in the Aeronca. I have the Aeronca up for sale now but I don't plan to wait till it sells to move up. I have the funds, I'm in good health, great fall…

Completed CH750 Cruzer Rudder at 8/20/15 workshop. Well worth traveling out to Mexico MO to tour the factory, get a demo ride, and start building the aircraft. Many thanks to Steve, Roger, and Sebastian for their assistance and hospitality. Onto to the next component kit!

GOOD NEWS,
Last Thursday Tom left the hospital and was moved to a rehab center, which means when he proves he can take care of himself he will be on his way home.
This whole episode has proved one thing to me. Do your research, choose a plane which meets your needs, choose a company that will back you, choose an engine that’s proven, and follow the plans. Than you can post what RW Hunker did (1000 hrs. and 15 years). What more can you ask?

Not sure if this is a proper post but guess it will be deleted if NOT. Is there anyone who would be willing to fly a 601 From Central Mississippi to Central Mo.

Dear Zenithaero Members,
Tom based his plane at Queen City Airport (XLL) in low wind conditions runway 25 is used for standard departures than for noise abatement follow I78 west. The air park is surrounded with developments and a long narrow stretch which is part of Allentown park system. At the time Tom was climbing out his engine failed, giving him only two choices I78 or the park system. It seems he chose the latter. Descending through the trees and into stream Tom took one hell…

On the night of August 11th at about 9:30 PM a strong storm hit the Chandler Airport. 30 planes were damaged or destroyed. Aircraft parts were littering the ramp. I saw radios, fiberglass wing tips, seat belts, nose gear with wheel, etc. One of the flight schools lost all 6 planes that it had stationed at KCHD. One was thrown about 50 yards and over a fence into the parking lot.
Several of the planes still had the tie down chains attached to their wings. Either the…

I can't keep the CH 750 Cruizer at an airport so anyone have experience with removing and re-attaching the wings for trailer transport?

I have began installation of the Advanced Flight Systems Inc. avionics panel in my 601XLB. It contains mostly Dynon equipment. I would surely appreciate any and all input on successful placement of the remote boxes that attach. E.g., ADAHRS, ELT, remote magnetic compass, etc.…

Com see the Viking "Super CruZer" (Modified Zenith Kit registered at the FAA as the "Super CruZer" ) next to the Zenith display on Monday at Air Venture (Oshkosh). The aircraft has a lowered tail, straight through wing mod, lifted roof, direct reading fuel gauges, "Cab Forward" windshield design, Viking 2015 - "115 Dual" aircraft engine, 2 different door designs, wing trailing ailerons and more. This is also my first post here. I have finished my empennage and started on the fuselage today. I drilled all the stiffeners and longerons on the bottom skin.

Today I drilled the longerons for the left aft side fuselage skin. Also cut the lateral stiffeners. This is my first post to the group. I started the project at a Zenith workshop on 5/21/15. I have completed the rudder, horizontal stabilizer, elevator and trim tab, bottom aft fuselage skin and right aft fuselage skin. I have had to be out of town for about half of the time since I started the project. Won't have to travel as much in the future and plan to spend more time on the plane. …
