I have a question, probably easy, but no matter I thought I would ask. I installed my main wheels on the CH750 with the bleeding valve on top. Do I need to take off my wheels and set them on the bottom of the system so it would bleed the air out completely, or will it work pushing the air through the system from the top of the wheel?
I appreciate it!

This week marked the 4th anniversary of that first snip into the metal of the rudder kit. I now have 340 hours into the project, only managed 53 last year thanks to 10 weeks of airport resurfacing that robbed me of hangar access during the best months of the year. But what I lacked in hours I made up for in dollars, lol - the purchase of the Rotax 912ULS added quite a bit to the rolling total. I think it will be worth it though.
It really is starting to look like I am near the…

Help needed!
I’m having trouble getting the my fuel to gages to read correctly.
My plane is a 601-B equipped with the 15 gallon tanks It has Grand Rapids Technologies EIS with the EFIS GRT Sport SX
I have entered my calculation for the settings several times, I have added and subtracted fuel from the tank and just can’t get correct information.
I’m looking for someone to share their settings IE offset numbers and etcetera.

I finished my flaperons tonight. I was not looking forward to these, but found them very easy to scratch build. First one took the longest and it got faster after that. I logged 6.5 hours from cutting the skin out to having the part finished.
Now its on to the spars...... hoping I only have to build 2.

I posted some photos of my rubber steering rod boots a day or two ago, and it has drawn criticism for not being fire proof.. Good point.. I am trying to retain the rubber boots since they seem to seal well against carbon monoxide entry into the cabin, but I will have to see if I can come up with a way of keeping heat from a fire from getting to them. Or at least, retard the heat long enough to get the aircraft on the ground. I am going to start my further development by testing some scrap…

TOUCH AND GO AT BRIAN RANCH AIRPORT IN MOJAVE DESERT. I HAVE 5 HOURS NOW FLIGHT TESTING. ALL SEEMS GOOD. WOT GOES 100 MPH AT 7000 DENSITY ALTITUDE. DEAD STICK LANDINGS WITH FLAPS AND NO FLAPS PRETTY MUCH LIKE CESSNA 150 AT 60 OR 54 MPH. BOUNCES AROUND IN THERMALS A LITTLE. THE RUDDER I'M STILL GETTING USED TO. MIGHT TAKE THE NOSE GEAR V-BLOCK AND GET RID OF THE CENTERING…

I am having difficulty getting my new tube settled into the 2 Grove Rims. Does anyone have advice or better yet pics on proper methods to change the tube on my main tire? My valve stem sticks out too far, and rubs on the wheel skirt brace. I wish there was a builders video or You Tube shot on doing…
